Hidden Dangers

After Neil’s fantabulous post which sent loads of traffic here, I spent some time today going thru my inventory and realized there were several paintings that weren’t online.  The above image is one of the lost and found paintings that started with my cherry tree & skullimages and became a story unto itself.  If you look closely you will find a wolf hidden in the trees and a broken heart carved into another.  The painting was made on two sheets of paper and is framed in two separate frames that hang together…a broken heart and a broken painting.  I made it a few years ago after a hard breakup…but there is hope in the glittering trees and the pathway leading into the distance.  The diamonds on the path signify the ‘diamond web of indra’ – or the interconnectedness of everything as explained to me by a Zen master.   You will see this theme carried through many of my paintings…(read more about the web here).  The painting measures 34” x 44”, acrylic on paper (framed) and is $1,500

We made it back to New York safely.  It’s good to be home.  The studio awaits my next creation and I am eager to get back to work.  I’ve had almost 3,000 hits in two days.  Gotta love it. If you are new here, thank you for visiting, pass it on and please stop by again!  All my best,  Kelli
