Mind-No-Mind

mind-no-mind

s the new year approaches I’d like to send out the old with a prayer of gratitude for all that was and all that will be.  If there is one thing I’ve learned it is that the future begins in thie moment and the thoughts we think now create our future.  An attitude of gratitude can shift your life in monumental ways.  I often listen to Hay House Radio to keep my thoughts positive and aligned with a higher energy in order to get through the rough spots.

This year brought more changes, challenges and joy to my life than I could possibly have imagined.  I am grateful for my daughter, Isabella Grace, and my family, friends and wonderful patrons who allow me to keep on the path of creation.  Thank you, your support means more than you know.

The above painting was the result of a trip I took to India in 2005 where I spent several months living in a Tibetan Buddhist Nunnery.  I made the center icon while staying in the Himalayan mountains…the clouds literally entered my room and surrounded me while I meditated.  When I returned to New York I started going thru several years of drawings (or ‘mind-stuff’) and wanted to do something with all of the images so I started making collage paintings such as this one picture here.  This one measures 4’ x 6’ and is acrylic and drawings on canvas.

As we pass through the known into the unknown I send you all good thoughts and wish you prosperity, happiness and love.  Keep on keepin on!  Kelli
