Wishing you all the best on the first day of the new year, a.k.a. the first day of the rest of your life. Today is a good day to start with positive affirmations to move forward to create a beautiful future. i like Dr. Christine Northrup’s mantra ‘I expand love, prosperity and success every moment and I inspire others to do the same.’
The above painting is titled ‘heaven’ and is one panel of three (the full painting measures 2’ x 12’, acrylic & glitter on canvas, pricing here). There are skulls hidden amongst the flowers symbolizing life and death and the great dance we all are part of while we are here on planet earth. The bird is a message of freedom and peace…this is part of the botanical series painted in 2007, a time when my life was filed with flowers.
