This particular painting is rich with symbolism. It portrays a couple in Tantric union, coupled in the Garden of Eden while the serpent dwells nearby. The tree of life contains hearts and the Diamond Web of Indra finds itself connecting the image in the bottom right (representing the interconnectedness of everything, you will often find reference to this in my work.)
I was living in the West Village of NYC when I painted this so the circle on the left portrays a city street. The circle on the right contains two ladders signifying the way we are able to communicate ‘in the clouds’ if we tune into higher frequencies.
