As we enter a new year I have been reflecting on the power of choice.
According to the teachings of Caroline Myss, we have chosen this life to fulfill our sacred contract from the other side, a contract WE determined before our birth. She states that we choose our parents, our partners, our challenges, our career paths, etc. and when we enter human conciousness, we forget everything from the ‘other side’. Caroline says “One way of viewing your Contract is as your overall relationship to your personal power and spiritual power. It determines how you work with your energy and to whom you give it. Finding and fulfilling your Sacred Contract also depends on how much you are willing to surrender to divine guidance.”
We are given free will in regards to our contract, which comes down to choice.
We are faced with choices every day. Simple things like using earth friendly cleaning products, conserving water, recycling. Or personal choices such as, looking our demons in the eye and facing them head on, or cowering and hoping they go away on their own accord. With the earth changes that are imminent, can we choose peace amidst chaos? Or will ego concerns be so overwhelming that we forget a kind word or a helpful hand?
What is your contract at this moment?
As the eternal moment is now, can you see the perfection? Do you find gratitude for the breathe itself?
For the new year, I ask you to remember the concept of ‘ripples in the pond’. One throws a stone into a pond and the circles flow outward into eternity. Choices we make affect all in this way. Our energy, thoughts and deeds affect everyone and everything around us. Our choices have the power to heal the world, or destroy it.
We are here to be happy. Share good will, peace, love and joy to all and your life will shine in ways that are better then you can imagine!
