"Water is Life" 4' x 9' triptych acrylic on wood
The center shows the image of a water crystal under a microscope after monks meditated on the word LOVE based on the work of Japanese scientist Masuru Emoto.
This painting is rich with layers of metallic paint giving it considerable depth and a high gloss finish creating a reflective quality similar to the surface of clear water.
The two side panels line up when the center panel is removed...I thought this could be interesting as a sliding door style installation revealing the third panel under when the two sides are pulled apart.
